population health analyticsOur population health analytics special interest group launched in spring 2023, the result of a conversation at our 2022 Miami conference. The SIG held its first event in April 2023 with an overview of population health principles from J.D. Whitlock of Dayton' Children's hospital. The group, chaired by Martha Sylvia of Medical University of South Carolina, intends to hold quarterly sessions featuring HDAA members talking through their organization's pop health environment. Upcoming events None scheduled. The group will host a roundtable at the HDAA 2023 conference in Denver this November 6-9. Recently completed events September 13: The group conducted an open discussion on ways to evaluate the success and measure the value of population health interventions. June 7: Robin Guthrie and Andrea Russell of Priority Health provided a payer's perspective on population health analytics. J.D. Whitlock of Dayton Children's Hospital discussed the goals and challenges of population health and reviewed his organization's implementation.
